We discuss the idea, references and goals. We define the format: single, EP or album. We assemble the right team for the project.

03

Mixing and Mastering

The engineer prepares the mix, aligns it with you and makes revisions. After final approval - mastering for all streaming platforms.

04

Delivery

You receive a finished master with correct loudness and metadata. We can send it straight to distribution.

Song and Track Recording in the Studio

Recording a song in a professional studio is the foundation of sound - even the most advanced mastering cannot fix a bad recording. Tochka Music provides a recording studio in Moscow with an acoustically treated room, Neve and API analog preamps, and Neumann, Sennheiser and Shure microphones. Vocal recording sessions are run by an experienced engineer who can draw out exactly the performance that works on streaming platforms.

Track Mixing and Mastering

Mixing is the work done with sound: instrument balance, EQ, compression, space and dynamics. Mastering is the final stage where the track is brought to the reference loudness levels of streaming services (-14 LUFS for Spotify and Apple Music, -16 LUFS for YouTube), a final polish is applied, and compatibility with different playback systems is verified. We handle both stages in the studio and in online mastering format if the artist already has a mixed version.

Beatmaking, Arrangement and Song Production

If an artist has lyrics and an idea but no instrumental, we bring in our team of beatmakers and arrangers. We create custom beats in any genre: hip-hop, trap, drill, pop, R&B, electronic. Live instruments are recorded where needed. Full-cycle song production - from the initial idea to a finished master ready for release on streaming platforms.

Preparing for Release on Streaming Platforms

After mastering, the track must meet the technical requirements of streaming services: WAV 44.1 kHz / 16 bit or 48 kHz / 24 bit, size up to 4 GB, no clipping, with properly embedded metadata. Tochka Music covers the entire cycle - from recording to upload on Yandex Music, Spotify, Apple Music, VK Music, Zvuk and 100+ other platforms. After release we connect release promotion and pay out streaming royalties on schedule.

FAQ

Frequently asked

How much does studio track recording cost?
The price depends on the scope of work: number of instruments, sessions and mixing complexity. A basic vocal session typically runs a few hours. We give an exact quote after the brief.
What is the difference between mixing and mastering?
Mixing is working with individual tracks: balance, EQ, effects and space. Mastering is the final processing of a finished mix to match streaming loudness and quality standards.
Can you mix a track that was not recorded with you?
Yes. We accept multitrack sessions in any format. We will mix and master them for streaming.
What are the mastering requirements for Spotify and Apple Music?
Streaming platforms normalize loudness, so the master must have the correct LUFS (-14 for Spotify, -16 for Apple Music). We deliver a master that meets all platform standards at once.
How long does it take to finish a track?
Recording - a few hours to a week. Mixing - 3-7 days including revisions. Mastering - 1-2 days. Total for a finished track: 1-3 weeks depending on complexity.
